ENL

Multilingual Learners are instructed by certified English as a New Language (ENL) teachers for a specific amount of minutes per day, based on their level of English competency. Instruction focuses on vocabulary and language development in all content areas. Teachers use the HMH Into Reading resources as well as others to help students develop reading skills. They assign tasks that give students the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas and customs from their cultures. The ENL program also features an instructional block dedicated to oral language development. Digital platforms such as Imagine Learning  are used to enable students to engage in content through different entry points and languages.
